Suzanne Levine’s second poetry collection, Grand Canyon Older Than Thought, a finalist with Copper Canyon Press, was published by Antrim House Books in September 2016. Her first book, Haberdasher's Daughter, also by Antrim House, was a finalist for an Eric Hoffer Award. Her work has appeared in Drunken Boat, California Quarterly (CQ), Passages North, Interpoesia, Permafrost, Quiddity International Literary Journal, Southern California Review, The Chaffin Journal, Stand Magazine UK and Whiskey Island Magazine among others.
A Pushcart nominee, she was a finalist in Permafrost's Midnight Sun Chapbook Competition and a contributor to Forty Fathers (2009). Suzanne has taught the craft of memoir writing with Lary Bloom at the Mark Twain House in Hartford where they co-founded Writing at the Mark Twain House.
They were also co-founders of Praiano Writers, a six day writers’ conference on the Amalfi coast in the town of Praiano. Suzanne holds an MFA from Vermont College and lives in New Haven, CT.
